The ACLU of Arizona has issued a call to Arizona artists for “In This Together: Six years of daring to create a more perfect Arizona,” a juried statewide traveling exhibition to commemorate the chapter’s 60th anniversary. The entry deadline is May 30, 2018. The exhibit will run from October 2018 through October 2019 with an opening at ASU Gammage from October 31 to December 6, 2018. The full call can be found here

MRA Associates Community Gallery Call to Artists (Black & White Photography) – Phoenix, AZ

Submission Deadline: March 10, 2018

MRA, a boutique, registered investment advisor with large firm experience, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, and SAACA/AZBCA seek submissions for a new juried black and white photography exhibition at MRA’s office in Phoenix. The exhibit, “A Sense of Place and Home”, will run May 15 – September 14, 2018. Call for Art | America, Now | This will be a national open juried exhibition offering $5,000 in awards, including $1,000 for Best in Show.  The exhibit will be juried by Dr. Elliot Bostwick Davis, Chair of the American Wing at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The theme of this show will be to celebrate the best in visual art being created by Americans today. Artists working in all media from throughout the United States are welcome to apply. This is an exciting opportunity for artists from across the United States to be featured in a national exhibition in the historic galleries of the Providence Art Club. Founded in 1880, the Providence Art Club is one of the oldest arts organizations in the United States and the first such Club to be jointly founded by men and women. Located in Providence, Rhode Island, the Club is easily accessible to Boston and New York and this show will draw a large and diverse audience of art lovers from across the Northeast and beyond. What do you do to “unplug”? Technology is everywhere and very relevant, but perhaps more essential is finding time to unplug . . . to look up . . . to just breathe.  It’s impossible to list the myriad of ways we can unplug and refresh our body, mind, and spirit. CALLING ALL ARTISTS! | Artist entries are now being accepted through August 7 for our Furry Friends Fine Arts Festival, to be held Saturday, September 16 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This statewide call to artists is an opportunity to showcase pet works of art for a juried event that supports Arizona families.  The Furry Friends Fine Arts Festival features artists booths and neighborhood business vendors, plus pet adoptions by the Arizona Humane Society and Woofs, Wiggles & Wags. Live music, food & beverage vendors and a performance by a member of the Arizona Canine Musical Freestylers.   Artists are invited to showcase animal-themed works of art in categories of all types, including paintings, drawings, photography, ceramics and more.
