What do you do to “unplug”? Technology is everywhere and very relevant, but perhaps more essential is finding time to unplug . . . to look up . . . to just breathe.  It’s impossible to list the myriad of ways we can unplug and refresh our body, mind, and spirit. Let’s take this opportunity to share this concept in literal and/or metaphoric expressions in art. | Prospectus |

Salty, sweet, pungent, spicy, fresh, vibrant, rich and colorful. All describe the foods we eat. Flavors linger. Aromatic scents recall poignant memories, both good and bad… imbued with the nectar of diverse, wide ranging cultures. Food also constitutes a multitude of elements that influences our relationships: love, creativity, nature, cultural diversity… our art! It nourishes. It comforts. It is the essential ingredient that infiltrates our very being. Your work should convey this concept. Activate your reflections about food as life’s enrichments. You may or may not choose to use actual imagery of food. Metaphors are welcome. Let your imagination soar! Prospectus
