tess-mosko-schererGreetings!

On behalf of Arizona Artists Guild, I am pleased to announce we are hosting our second annual Fine Art Fiesta on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 5:00-9:00 pm.  This is quickly becoming our signature fundraising event.  From raku firing to alcohol ink, pastels, watercolor and even the newfangled art of zentangle, the evening is chock full of creative activities designed to be fun for the artist and non-artist alike.  This is a great opportunity to introduce your non-artists friends and family members to creative activities in a fun-filled environment.

Since its inception in 1928, community outreach has been at the cornerstone of Arizona Artists Guild.  Funds raised from this event will go toward supporting our programming and maintaining our building in addition to assisting with our outreach programs.  I am immensely proud to report that our outreach program has developed and grown over the years. We are able to provide much needed scholarships for college level art students.  Additionally, our free art program has expanded.  Initially established for veterans, we now offer monthly classes to elderly immigrants, and abused girls.  As you know, the impact art makes on a person’s life is immeasurable.  As a volunteer based non-profit, the number of volunteers that participate in these programs is outstanding and speaks volumes of the spirit of our community!  I am honored to be at the helm of such an extraordinary organization.david

I hope you can join us for the evening and help support AAG’s endeavors.

Additionally, you can find us on Facebook, and if you feel so inclined, please ‘like’ us:  www.facebook.com/AzArtistsGuild/
