Welcome to the Arizona Artists Guild (AAG)
Founded in 1928, the Arizona Artists Guild is a 501(c)3 nonprofit
organization led by volunteers dedicated to providing and promoting
opportunities in the visual arts including exhibitions, educational
and outreach programs.
Membership is made up of professional as well as
aspiring artists working in a variety of media.
Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, September
through April, at 7:00 pm. Pre-meeting critique sessions begin at 6:00 p.m.
Beginning September 15, 2009, regular meetings will be in the new AAG building at
18411 N. 7th Ave., Phoenix, Az., 85023. This is just south of the intersection of
West Union Hills and 7th Avenue.
The Arizona Artists Guild is

Exhibitions
Promoting quality artwork for public viewing and appreciation
Encouraging members to participate in state and national exhibits
Offering support for members to further their careers
Providing opportunities for members to display their work
Educational Programs
Awarding scholarships to Arizona students
Sponsoring classes through The Guild School of Art
Teaching classes to people with disabilities
Providing after school art enrichment experiences
Offering critique sessions to improve skills
Outreach Programs
Supplying judges for local, state and national art exhibits
Providing a voice for civic matters relating to the arts
Availing a meeting space for other community arts organizations
Continuing a long-standing tradition of art leadership in the
state since 1928
Maintaining a cadre of instructors for schools and community
